Kate Holdsworth After my four years of Herndon High Theater, I moved to Amherst, Mass and attended the University of M. to pursue my other passion (Art History). I found that I couldn't stay away from the theater though---it called to me--the professional Valley Light Opera Company that is, where I served as stage manager (back to my roots ;) ) for two years and enjoyed my time watching professional touring opera stars and professors from the five colleges alike prance around in tights! Since then, I am sad to say, my life in the theater world has been on hiatus whilst I pursue yet another one of my dreams--teaching! For the past year, I have worked with special needs students incorporating art appreciation into their curriculum. I now reside in southern Vermont (very beautiful---mountain views, tall trees, and a babbling brook in the backyard----come visit!) with my boyfriend, Dan, and our golden retriever, Bailey. I miss my friends from HHS Drama days and would love to reconnect (especially Hetrick and Bear). Drop me an email and let me know what's new. |

Katy Maguire Settling into Cincinnati after graduating from the Conservatory of Music in 2004. I got a GREAT teaching job which allows me to pursue my one career goal - be the next Dana Van Slyke....although I think the task is impossible (who could be as wonderful as she is??) I'm working on it. So I sing all day long with 7th-12th graders. I've gotten back on the theatre stage for the first time since playing Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS at HHS....this past summer ('05) I played Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC for a local community theater group and had the time of my life. I'm also vocal/music/assistant directing musicals at the school where I teach - THE PAJAMA GAME and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Wondering how all the HHS Drama/Choir Alums are doing! |

I am now a Communication Studies major at Virginia Tech and have a minor in Theatre Production. Among the shows I worked on at HHS were "The Crucible" (Fall 1991 - Lighting Designer) and "Bye Bye Birdie" (Spring 1993 - Technical Director). Also while at HHS, I designed the lighting for the "Pride of Herndon" Band, HHS Chorus, and numerous shows for the Fashion Merchandising Department. Among my booth crew were Willie Slepecki (lighting and sound) and Dan Rockholt (sound). |

Jennifer Walker (Jeni Stover) I was a member of Drama Club from 1980-1984 mostly from the technical side. I did Set Crew for 2 years, Asst. Stage Mgr. junior year, and Stage Manager senior year which included all the lighting and sound. It was definitely some of my best high school memories - what a blast! Big Hey to all the old gang: Kim, Tom, Ian and Paul. |
Class of 1983

Maria Holderness (Mia Stover) My name is Maria Holderness (aka Mia Stover) & I was involved in just about every production HHS did from 1979 to 1983. Believe it or not, I actually moved back to Herndon about 5 years ago & I work in Tysons Corner. Unfortunately I lost touch with almost everyone from those days. Would love to hear from the old gang of wonderful people I had the pleasure of working with while I was there (Leslie, Tom, Kurt, Beth, Matt, just to name a few)! Hope the newest generation of HHS Drama buddies are still going strong! |
Class of 1982

Chuck Stanley I did theatre all four years at Herndon High and would love to find some old cast mates. I am currently working in theatre, acting and costume designing. This year I co-designed an off-Broadway production of "Hair" and had a great time. "Is Miss Daniels still alive?" is the big question with me. I have heard both about her and Ms. King. |
