Zoë DillardShe is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!), where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech/Theatre Education, with a French teaching minor. Her experiences at LSU included performing at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater for American College Theatre Festival, and the Fringe Theatre Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1996, Zoë finished her Master of Theatre Education degree at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.
She blames her mother for her love of Musical Theatre and
Shakespeare, which were foundations of her childhood. She blames her
father for her passion, energy and the discipline that go with being a
"Navy brat." Zoë's patient and ever-supportive husband, Kim, teaches
elementary physical education and tennis. They have two wild daughters,
Ashley and Phoebe, who are oddly gifted in both tennis and theatre, and
keep Kim and Zoë hopping. The Dillards also have an eccentric,
couch-loving, fur-shedding dog, named Ruth.
